Wenzhou factories started to emerge worldmarket massively via the trade show ever since 1998 ,very few boss of Wenzhou factory can speak English in dealing with ovesea customers,except for those who has English speaking family member to give an helping hand, most recruit University fresh graduate to do the job for them. most of the candidate lacking on-job training ,for low cost's sake, most solicite the green hand,mostly they have no international exposure,nor knowledge of international trade practice,oversea clients (small cleints) have to do a hard job by teaching them how to satisfy their requirment.

after several months,such green hand begins to know a little bit about frames, mostly likely they quit the job for other's better offer,most likely the factory boss has to solicite the second one to work for him.the customer has to teach her (him) the second time, in a certain period of time, mostly likely the emplyee quit the job, and the boss has no other alternative but to solicite the third one, and the cusotmer has to teach the third time.things like that happen again and again, and the oversea customer has to suffer again and again by purchasing directly from them.

Since big customer can set up a buying office to monitor his order. but not for small customer due to opportunity cost or some other considerations.since we know indigeneous chinese's character trait and working manner but also literated in western culture and value.we actor as a moniotr for oversea customer with small order by making only 20% profit.orders are under our strict surveillance,goods are checked carefully in our Shenzhen office before shipping to HK office,they do not have to worry about loyalty and fuduciary ,should they work with us.

Indigenous Metal Frame factory in Shenzhen --

The factory owner had been normally working in other factories.some are HK factories ,some are Indigenous factories, the former is run by HK people, the latter is run by local people.those coming from the former is better in knowledge of quality control concept and international trade practice.

The latter is not.for the latter ,they know nothing about that,L/C is a mistery for them, they always use telephone for communication, not literated in computer application, never send sms in mobile,seldom send fax message,even if they do,their content is funny, never put on fax his and your address ,tel, never type his name below and sign his name by the side,without a proper forma you can not see clearly what is his name ,they like to remember all things in mind rather than in paper record,in their concept, otpical trading is no difference with selling vegetatable and pork in an agricultural market.

However when their dealing with Taiwanese or South East Asian Chinese one man firm,such way of doing business is ok,but if with English speaking customer ,he has to recruit a univeristy graduate to do the job for him, and a funny thing will happen as what I mentioned in the article stipulated above. -(to be continued next time!)
